As a consultant, coach and advisor, Michael utilizes his depth and breadth of experience to deliver a comprehensive perspective on business challenges and opportunities. With a “roll-up his sleeves” mentality, Michael believes that the only successful outcomes with clients result from a collaborative process with management and a desire to understand the critical aspects that drive daily business activity. Each client has unique challenges and opportunities, so Michael will build upon management’s existing expertise to propose the right solutions and plan of action.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (majoring in Finance and Marketing) and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (majoring in Finance and Accounting). These experiences provided a foundation to pursue a wide array of opportunities in his professional career.
Michael began his career as an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he advised major corporate clients on an array of activities, including more than $1.1 billion of public equity and debt capital raising and merger and acquisition transactions. In addition, he advised several clients on corporate restructuring and strategic advisory opportunities.

Healthcare Executive - Acquisitions Expert
Michael has also held senior operations and business development roles in multiple healthcare companies. He led operations and development for a group of multi-specialty surgical centers which were sold to a public company. Michael has also utilized his combination of healthcare and acquisition expertise to lead business development activities at two major healthcare providers: U.S. HealthWorks and Western Dental. In each organization, Michael facilitated all phases of acquisition activity. Michael was able to accretively grow each company’s footprint by nearly 20% resulting in substantial additional revenue and EBITDA.

As an entrepreneur, Michael has helped several businesses grow and diversify their customer base – some more successfully than others. While he has had numerous success stories, Michael also has learned many lessons from challenges and failures. The wisdom gained from his successes and failures have proven invaluable to numerous executives and business clients.
